The Saginaw Arthur Hill offensive attack was too much for DHS on Tuesday night, and they fell to the Lumberjacks 75-62. Senior Alec Marty again led the Chargers with 26 points, and junior Mike Robb added eight.

The Chargers played close with the Lumberjacks in quarters one, three and four, but it was the second quarter that hurt the Chargers. Arthur Hill doubled up the Chargers score, outscoring DHS 22-11 in the quarter.

“If you take away that second quarter, it really could’ve been a different game,” Marty said.

Leading Arthur Hill was senior Eric Davis with 23 and sophomore Brian Bowen with 21. The crowd not only enjoyed the game, but also a visit from Michigan State basketball coach Tom Izzo, who was there to watch some of the Arthur Hill team.
