The Chargers take on Traverse City Central on Sept. 29 with a current record of 3-2. Students, teachers, staff, parents and alumni can attend the kickoff at 7 p.m. at the Midland Community Stadium. In addition to the football game, the crowning of the Homecoming King and Queen will take place on the field during halftime. The varsity pompon team will also be performing with the marching band. The theme for the student section is Pink Out. People can purchase tickets on GoFan.com.
“I think pom really contributes to the energy especially at halftime, and people will engage because we do perform right around the time that the court is announced as well,” senior Annie Peterson said. “It’s always really fun how much we do especially with the band when we always have different routines to do at every game.”
