DHS DECA is currently fundraising with Coyer Candle, a local shop, in order to raise money for the upcoming year.

“This covers student dues to Michigan DECA, student dues to national DECA, district competition fees and transportation to districts,” DECA adviser Erin Royalty said.

The club has been fundraising with Coyer Candles for the past two years and receives 50% of the profits earned off the sales. 

There are a variety of options that Coyer Candles have provided for the fundraiser. Students in DECA are selling eight ounce mason candles available for $9 and 16 ounce pint mason candles for $18. They are also selling air fresheners for $3 and warmer chunks for $5. The candles, air fresheners and chunks are available in the scents cranberry spice, harvest, macintosh apple, pumpkin dreams and vanilla. The candles are expected to be delivered on Oct. 21.
