Football for a cause

The annual Military Appreciation Night Game is Friday, Sept. 14, 2018, at the Midland Community Stadium. DHS is holding a WHITE OUT in order to honor all current and past members of the military.

R.E.D. Remember Everyone Deployed white t-shirts are being sold for $10 during both lunches and at the game.

Donations will be accepted during the football game at a table coordinated by parent volunteers and Scott Cronkright, a former DHS student and veteran. JV and freshman football players will also be walking around taking donations. All funds will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.

The Wounded Warrior Project helps to provide care to veterans and service members who have received mental and physical injuries during their military service.

Everyone is encouraged to participate and wear white as the Chargers go up against Bay City John Glenn.
