Entrepreneur and motivational speaker Jeff Hoffman visited DHS on Mar. 22, 2018 to talk to the Advanced Business and Marketing classes. Hoffman has created multiple businesses and has accomplished many of his life goals because of the opportunities he has made for himself. He shared some of his goals, such as visiting 50 countries before he dies, with the students.

“I didn’t want to see what the future held, I wanted to design the future,” Hoffman said.

Hoffman was brought in to talk to students about his personal experiences in the business world. He told students that they can achieve all of their dreams if they follow a simple formula: dream big, become knowledgeable about the topic, make a list of everything that needs to get done, and then work to achieve the goal.

“I think that Jeff Hoffman was a great opportunity to show students that you know dream big and chase after it and you can achieve those crazy dreams that everyone tells you, you can’t do,” Marketing, Business, and Computer Tech. teacher Erin Royalty said.

The event was coordinated by Northwood University.
