Midland boys’ lacrosse played a tremendous game against Flint Powers on Friday winning 16-0.  Leading scorer was Quinton Bortel with four goals.  Other scorers were Jon Jardis and Ryan Sisitki with two goals each.  Jared Zahn, Vi Lobo, Russ Pitt, Bo Brueck, Alex Farrell, Payne Cassaday, Chris Szabo and Garrett Brillhart all scored one goal each.

“We put forth a great team effort that led to a well deserved win,” sophomore Jared Zahn said.

Assists came from Bortel, Jardis, Sisitki, Farrell, Zahn and Nick Nastase.

The Cavaliers dominated play throughout the entire game.  They are now 4-0 in the SVL and play Haslett on Monday, May 2nd.
