Charger Shoppe cookies are back

Due to the new health guidelines the Charger Shoppe was forced to provide a healthier cookie.  At the start of the 2014-15 school year at DHS, the Charger Shoppe sold the healthier cookie that wasn’t as popular among the student body.

“They were affected negatively at first but now [the new cookies] have had a positive effect,” senior and Charger Shoppe manager Justin LaForest said.

Now in the second semester, a new cookie has made a debut. A cookie that meets health guidelines and tastes like the old cookies.

“We have changed the whole recipe and made it better to appeal better to customers,” LaForest said.

With the new cookies being a hit, the sales have increased throughout the second semester.

There are multiple types of cookies, including oatmeal raisin, M&M, chocolate chip and snickerdoodle. The cookies are priced at $1.00 for two.
