Captain of DHS’s Quiz Bowl team senior Lillian Pressnell led seniors Anish Middha and Ashwin Saxena, junior Carter Newcomb, and sophomore Tate Clerc to victory against Bay City John Glenn in their battle at Central Michigan University (CMU) on Sept. 23rd. 

The win made it possible for the team to advance to their second match against Flushing. DHS then lost in a very close match against Flushing. 

Dow High’s Quiz Bowl team met after school on Wednesday, Sept. 18th. They enjoyed snacks and practiced for the annual competition at CMU by asking each other trivia and jeopardy questions after sixth hour to help earn their win against Bay City John Glenn.

“I’m looking forward to hanging out with everyone again, because it’s just a really fun time, and that’s a fun place to go,” Clerc said.
