Due to the busyness of the spring season and the way the grades for the Honor Roll are recorded, the 2018 Honors Assemblies will be held earlier in the year for the freshmen, sophomores, and juniors. Recognition on the honor roll is determined by the grades from first semester of the current year and second semester of the previous year.

The events will be held in the Gold Gym and DHS. The freshmen assembly will be on Mar. 20 at 8 a.m. The sophomore assembly will be on Mar. 21 at 8 a.m. The junior assembly will be on Mar. 21 at 10 a.m. The senior assembly will be held in May, similar to previous years. It will begin on May 17 at 8 a.m.

The sophomore and junior assemblies will be held on the same day due to the robotics competition loading into the gym in the evening on Mar. 22.

“It feels good [to be on the honor roll],” sophomore Anish Middha said. “Just knowing that what I put in in the classroom paid off and that it’s being recognized.”
