Rogue one is different than all the previous Star wars movies in in the past. There have been 2 trilogy’s and the 2015 The Force Awakens. Rogue one is  a stand alone film and  time period is set between “a New Hope” (1977) and “Revenge of the Sith” (2005). The plot is that a group of rebels try to steal the plans of the first death star. The cast includes Felicity Jones, Diego Luna, Mads Mikkelsen, and Forest Whitaker. Felicity Jones is playing Jyn Erso who is the main protagonist. Rogue one was everything I hoped for it to be and so much more, I was on the edge of my seat the entire 2hours. I would say Rogue one is one of the better Star Wars movies ever made, for all the star wars fans it was fun to watch the movie and make connections from this movie to the movies in the past. Throughout the movie you are introduced to new characters, heroes and villain that you either grow to love or hate. Older audiences would enjoy all of the connections made to the past movies and classic characters such as R2D2, 3-CPO, Princess Leia, and Darth Vader getting screen time. Rogue one will put viewers through an emotional roller coaster full of happiness, defeat, heartbreak and it will leave you craving more.
