This upcoming Homecoming week, the second annual volleyball tournament will occur where the winners receive free Homecoming tickets. The tournament will take place in both gyms, and any grade level can band together to make a team. There can be four to five students on each team, and there can only be one DHS or club volleyball player per team. 

The games will take place on Sept. 22, with the first game at 6:30. However, teams must be registered by Friday, Sept. 19.

“It was pretty fun last year,” Student Leadership teacher Chelsea Berg said. “You never know when you do something the first time how it’ll turn out, but it was really successful last year, and we already have more teams signed up this year than we did last year.”

This year at the tournament the hope is to allow people to connect and have fun.
