Battle of the Bands will commence on Friday, Mar. 16, 2018, at 7 p.m. in the DHS cafeteria. Tickets will be sold at lunch for $5 and at the door for $7.

Featured in the event will be student bands including, Great Zero, Sax to the Max 2.0, the Freeman, and Combined Experience. Judging will consist of identifying the best band, as well as the band with the loudest crowd. The winning band will be awarded $50.

Proceeds from the event will go to the organization Kids Against Hunger. The event organizers are members of Key Club.

“It’s a really cool way for musically talented students that are in rock bands to compete against each other and to do it for a great cause,”  sophomore Lillian Pressnell said.

Pressnell is a member of the band Great Zero, along with sophomores Lydia Barber, and Jared Poliksey.
