On Monday, April 24, the DHS girls varsity soccer team battled it out with rival Powers Catholic High School away in flint. The DHS girls team fought hard for the whole time of regulation and finished with a score tied of 2-2. The game went back and forth but each team couldn’t get the edge on each other. With that tie, the girls are now sitting with a record of four wins, three losses, and two ties.
The DHS girls varsity soccer team hosts Heritage High School Wednesday, April 26. The girls are looking to add a win to the couple that they have already to stay set at a winning record. Including the Heritage game, the girls have eight games until they play cross town rival, Midland High School. The girls are looking to build some momentum and move into playoffs with as many wins as possible.
