Boys Varsity track at Swayze/ Graves Relay

On Friday, Apr. 21, the DHS boys track team participated in the Swayze/Graves Relay and finished the meet sitting at third place among three other schools. The DHS boys track team competed against Midland High, Traverse City West, Traverse City Central, and Alpena. The DHS boys track team had a combined effort and won three different events at the meet. These events including the shot put relay, the 800 meter relay and the 110 meter hurdles. With these first place finishes, the team finished the meet with 63 points. The team followed up this third place finish up with a meet versus Bay City Central on Wednesday, April 25 and has the Brighton Bulldog Invitational on Sunday, Apr. 29.

The DHS track team followed up the third place finish with a track meet against Bay City Western on Wednesday, Apr. 25. The team was on foreign grounds, away at Bay City Western, and the weather proved to not be pleasant for them either.
