The prestigious program of girls soccer at DHS has begun once again this spring. The girls had their first away game of the season against Clarkston High School away in Clarkston, Mich. on March 28.
“We have been practicing for a couple of weeks now and it feels good to finally have a challenging game,” senior Jillian Skinner said.
Skinner, along with the other girls on the team, has been training hard to be successful this season to try and mirror the season they had last year. The final score of the soccer game was 2-0 in favor of the DHS varsity girls soccer team.
The girls next game is home against Bay City Central, on April 12, after the students return from break.
