April 29, 2013, Midland Public Schools held a board meeting to announce the slate of names for the superintendent position. Secretary of the Educational Board, John Kaminski, announced all the candidates as well as claimed that there is an additional candidate that is still in process. The candidates that were slated are Dr. Jeffrey Hall, superintendent of Schwartz Creek Public Schools, Mr. Rick Seebeck the 2nd superintendent of Gladwin Community Schools, Mr. Michael Sharrow superintendent of Algonac Community School, Ms. Cindy Weber, superintendent of Durand Area Schools, and Dr. Wayne Anderson, superintendent of Mount Horeb Public Schools from Wisconson. The Educational Board will meet the candidates May 6,7, and 8.
