When did you start experimenting with makeup?

“Really Early! I think I started to play around with makeup when I was 13….I´ve always had a passion for drawings so I think it all started there.”

Why do you like makeup and experimenting with makeup?
“Because it’s a wonderful way of expressing feelings! This is how I get to recharge my battery’s & get the opportunity to be creative!”

Do you have any helpful tips for bold makeup application/how to keep makeup on throughout the day and looking good?

“Be accurate with the basic steps before the makeup. Use great brushes, a good primer and use makeup that´s made for your skin type. Work after “less is more” and just use makeup where it’s needed.”

Do you have any tips for kids just getting into makeup?
“Invest in a individual makeup course so you get to know the reasons behind makeup. In that way you’ll also get the best tips for YOUR skin from the early start. I meet so many clients that has no idea why they use so much makeup and they learn a lot during the classes.. otherwise…again Work after “less is more” and just use makeup where it’s needed.”

Are you a bold eye person or a bold lip person? Or can you do both?

“I can be both.”

What is your go to brand(s) for everyday makeup?
“I just looove Anastasia Beverly Hills, a Finish brand called Lumene & of course Mac has a big place in my heart!”

If you had to choose, would you prefer higher quality brushes, or higher quality makeup?

“Oh, that’s a tough one. Can I please choose both? Ok, if I have to choose….I will pick the brushes!”

Liquid or powder foundation and why?
“Liquid! I love to work for a more dewy look. I like to give a lot of moisture to the skin..makes it look more fresh.”

Preferred eyeliner formula (liquid, cream, crayon)?
“It depends…but Crayon, because its more handy and it’s easier for the client to use in a lot of different way both for the day and the evening makeup!”

What is your preferred foundation application?
“Hm, do you mean if I prefer brush or sponges? I prefer a brush because the result becomes so much more natural and then I try to not put it in the whole face. Just use it where you need it and make sure to apply it downwards to prevent that the makeup will stuck under the hair on the face.”

Is your day to day makeup more simple and you keep the dramatics for costume-like makeup, or is your day to day bold as well?

“Because of my work I use a lot of dramatic makeup during the days as well but when I can choose I prefer the natural simple look during the day and the more dramatic for the evening!”

What inspires you to do more dramatic or costume like makeup, or to try something new?

“Everything! When I collect inspiration I can get it from the nature, a color of a car, a shape of a stone on the ground or a fabric.. I try to be open to everything when I hunt for new inspiration.”
What draws you to a more dramatic look or costume makeup?
“Hm If I understand you correctly… The eyes are important and can really give the whole look a great character. A big pair of eyelashes are always a great way of showing off! ”

Do you have any tips overall for costume-like or more dramatic makeup?

“If you’re going to try something new for Halloween…practice before. When you do the makeup on the Day you should have fun not stumbling over problems and be pissed:) That can just ruin your night.”

What is your go to Halloween makeup and design?
“It vary’s! This year I think I will go for the more witchy look haha.”
