As the opening weekend approaches, the drama department\u2019s line-cramming and extensive rehearsals commence. Because of this show\u2019s specific demand for hip-hop dancing, cheerleading stunts, and wide-range vocals, it is crucial that every second of rehearsal is productive.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\" align=\"center\"><span style=\"color: black; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;\">\u201cA lot of people are stepping out of their comfort zones and trying new things,\u201d senior Abbey Stolz said. \u201cI\u2019ve been a pommer for the past four years, but now I\u2019m learning how to fly and stunt for my role in the show.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: black; font-family: 'Calibri',sans-serif;\">Although the rehearsal times vary depending on what role they have, the entire drama department meets at least three times a week for two to three hours per rehearsal. In this time, Kathy Snyder, psychology teacher and varsity cheer coach, works with the cast on cheer and stunting.
