Facebook has grown to be the world\u2019s social network, which in a way is great, but the overtrust on the website\u2019s security is way too falsely integrated into people\u2019s minds. These days most use Facebook daily, adding what they\u2019re doing at that time and creeping on friends and friends of friends. The problem starts when people start adding personal information. Although the website is designed for people to tell each other when and where to hang out, catch up on old times and tell about their lives as of now, some are taking this too far.<\/p>\n

Going off from three main subjects of TMI on Facebook, here\u2019s what not to post.<\/p>\n

First, if posted as \u201cin a relationship\u201d or set as \u201cit\u2019s complicated,\u201d try to keep the love comments on a low down. No one wants their newsfeed overrun with comments like \u201cI love you baby\u201d and \u201cOMG our date at Pizza Sam\u2019s was awesome can\u2019t wait to see you again sugarplums.\u201d Everyone these days who can afford a computer with high speed internet has a cell phone capable of sending a text message. Therefore, unless there is a craving for \u201call eyes on me\u201d attention, just send a text to do passionate love justice.<\/p>\n

Second, an over-inflated ego doesn\u2019t need to be for all \u201cfriends\u201d to see. DHS seniors are being accepted to colleges, and some are being granted scholarships, but an exact number as to how much they\u2019re getting for school is unnecessary.<\/p>\n

Third, and what should be obvious, are illegal activities. People who post comments and pictures doing illegal things, like drinking or smoking, are baffling. Many have read about those who aren\u2019t accepted into a job or workplace because of their Facebook page, so why risk it? It isn\u2019t worth it. Let alone the fact that it affects people in other ways. For example, teens aren\u2019t the only ones with a Facebook, or the only ones with access to their page. Therefore, a professor or parent can see their page, ultimately resulting in a ruined reputation.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s easy to love Facebook, but the over use of the social aspects can do nothing but hurt people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
