All of my hard work in school has finally paid off.\u00a0 The goal of finishing my childhood life with good enough grades to get into the college of my choice has finally come.\u00a0 I am now a second semester senior, and have got accepted where I want to go to college. I have no worries in life.\u00a0 I can take it easy for the next few months and relax before I hit the books in college.<\/p>\n
Going through high school I have had many up and downs. \u00a0Sometimes I even felt that I\u2019d only have good enough grades to go to a community college, which would be my last option.\u00a0 The main thing is to never get to give up hope. Even if\u00a0a student\u00a0has one bad year or semester, it can be made up for in the following years and colleges will look past it and still accept them.\u00a0 This is what happened to me. \u00a0Sophomore year I didn\u2019t try hard in school and thought it was just a joke. That year\u00a0had the worst grades I\u2019ve ever had in my life.\u00a0 My GPA took a huge dive and I felt Delta bound.\u00a0 I had a lot of tough nights crying, thinking there was no hope.\u00a0 I knew my parents would be so disappointed in me so I tried to hide my report card until one day they found out\u00a0 and made me show them.\u00a0<\/p>\n
They yelled at me and gave me the biggest lecture I\u2019ve ever had in my life.\u00a0 I cried what seemed like for hours but knew them finding out would help me get back on track and start trying.\u00a0 The following years came much easier to me.\u00a0 All it takes for someone\u00a0to do well in school is for them to\u00a0apply themself.\u00a0 If\u00a0they\u00a0do their homework and get help from a teacher or friend if\u00a0they don\u2019t understand material you should always get A\u2019s and B\u2019s.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u00a0The main reason kids do badly in high school is because they either have too much going on after school, or because they\u2019re just too lazy to do their homework.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen I\u2019m playing a sport I do better in school\u00a0because the less free time I have the more I focus,\u201d said junior Josh Tomsich<\/p>\n
Now being a second semester senior who\u2019s been accepted where I want to go I have no worries in life.\u00a0 It seems everything is falling in the right places.\u00a0 I have so much to look forward to but little to do now which makes my life perfect.\u00a0 This is the joy of being a second semester senior.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
