The spirit week will take place Sept. 22-27.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many students believe spirit week is a great way to get excited about Homecoming and to participate and feel included at DHS.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI feel like it brings us together as a school community, and it\u2019s a fun way to get excited for Homecoming,\u201d senior Kendra Johnson said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Johnson also said that many people help come up with ideas for spirit week, including many people in her Student Leadership 3 class, her teacher Chelsea Berg and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAs a class we come up with a bunch of ideas,\u201d junior Ashley Pietrzak said. \u201cWe brainstorm. We have this huge, giant list, and then we pick ones that we really like from that list.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A lot of students believe spirit week helps students come together and get excited about Homecoming.
