The Chargers have not yet competed in their first match of the year, but have been spending time preparing for the upcoming events.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI feel like we\u2019re going to be very well prepared because Coach Doyle and Coach Wardell put us through some good drilling and we get a lot done in practices,\u201d sophomore Evan Chronowski said. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Chronowski and the rest of the team have been spending their time training in hopes that the practices will pay off.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cThey\u2019re going very well,&#8221; Chronowski said. &#8220;There\u2019s a lot of good energy in the practices and they\u2019re all working hard and we\u2019re getting a lot done.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The team has been holding practices as of Nov. 18. Chronowski has been already thinking about what he hopes to accomplish this winter.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cI just want to be better at learning more because I\u2019m still new at it, so I\u2019ll try and keep learning how to and stuff,\u201d Chronowski said.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Charger&#8217;s first meet will be held at Carman-Ainsworth High School on Dec. 11 at 6:00 against multiple opponents.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/update.midlandps.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/12\/evan.mp3\"><\/audio><figcaption>Interview with Evan Chronowski<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"","protected":false},"author":8258,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[6],"tags":[1921,67,77,2514,176],"class_list":["post-14760","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-3-sports","tag-jv","tag-sports","tag-varsity","tag-winter-sports","tag-wrestling"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
