There will be two programs, and both of them will be in the DHS Media Center. One is the primary workshop, which is from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., and will help educate people on how to apply for various exemptions on their tax forms, such as poverty and veteran exemptions. In addition, it will also educate on how to process actions such as appealing denials to the Michigan Tax Tribunal. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alongside this program will be a Free Tax Clinic Q&amp;A, where general questions about taxes can be posed to licensed attorney and law students from the MSU College of Law. This program will be from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and will coincide with the workshop when it occurs.
