Meow there fur-rend! In the latest comedy, <\/span>Nine Lives<\/span><\/i>, which features Tom Brand (Kevin Spacey) as a billionaire <\/span>whose workaholic lifestyle takes him away from his loving wife, Lara (Jennifer Garner), adult son, David (Robbie Amell), and adorable daughter, Rebecca (Malina Weissman). Needing a present for Rebecca’s 11th birthday, Brand buys a seemingly harmless cat from a purrfectly mysterious pet store. Suddenly, a bizarre turn of events traps poor Tom inside the animal’s body. The owner of the business, Felix Perkins (Christopher Walker), tells him that he has one week to reconnect with his family or live out the rest of his days as a cute and furry feline called Mr. Fuzzypants. <\/span>Nine Lives, <\/span><\/i>with its\u2019 great voice and meow-velous comedy, is a modern family film.<\/span><\/p>\n

There is excellent voice throughout the film. The actors perform meow-velously. The audience can connect with the emotions that are claw-lessly displayed. When you see Tom fall off the his famous tower, \u201c the tallest building in the northern hemisphere\u201d, with Mr. Fuzzypants clinging to his cage, your heart stops. Now, whether your heart is stopping because a man is falling off of a very tall building towards his death (which will leave his wife, son and daughter crying and his ex-wife laughing) or if you are worried for innocent Mr. Fuzzypants, is your decision. <\/span><\/p>\n

Nine Lives, <\/span><\/i>is a comical film. During the first half, there are several clips of funny cat videos that one would find on Youtube. Links to some of those funny cat videos are below. Tom the cat, causes quite a ruckus. While Tom\u2019s ex-wife is visiting and making fun of him, Tom uses her expensive purse as a litter box and then continues to make her stay purrfectly miserable. Tom has a hairball of a time trying to get into his brandy cupboard. After fur-lure and after fur-lure, Tom is able to open his cupboard and pour himself several glasses of scotch. A short while afterwards, we are able to view what it is like to watch a drunk cat. Tom stumbles about, hiss-terically bumping into walls and waddling through the corridors of his once in-fur-ier home. During his time spent as Mr. Fuzzypants, his loving, won-fur-ful family treat Tom with the full feline treatment: wet cat food, a litter box, and a wooden cat transportation box.<\/span><\/p>\n

Before Tom\u2019s transfur-mation, Tom tells the audience of his undying hatred for the cat species. After his transfur-mation, Tom understands that family is more important than business matters. <\/span>Nine Lives<\/span><\/i> is a modern family movie; full of voice and comedy. Furrve out of furrve on voice, furrve out of furrve on comedy, furrve out of furrve on production.<\/span><\/p>\n
